The story of Annie, a gutsy 11 year old orphan with a heart of gold, has become a family favourite all over the world since opening in 1976. Set in New York City during the Depression Annie lives at the Municipal Home for Girls under the ‘care’ of the cruel and crooked Miss Hannigan. Determined to find her real parents she is taken in one Christmas by billionaire Oliver Warbucks. Adventure after fun-filled adventure follows as Annie foils the plans of Miss Hannigan and her dastardly brother Rooster, who are plotting to get their hands on Warbucks’ money.
